5 years agoHouston Astros designated hitter Yordan Alvarez (rest) is out of the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Los Angeles Angels. Alvarez will get a routine day off here against the left-handed starter. George Springer will bat leadoff and serve as the designated hitter versus lefty Jose Suarez.
