5 months agoHouston Astros designated hitter Yordan Alvarez (knee) appears to have avoided serious injury after exiting early during Saturday's game against the Minnesota Twins. The left-handed slugger was pulled from the game after being hit by a pitch in the knee. The Astros aren't going to have any imaging done. Alvarez is being considered as day-to-day with a right knee contusion. Fantasy managers might be without Alvarez for a few games, but it doesn't sound like he'll miss significant time.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
