2 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Yordan Alvarez is back in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Detroit Tigers. The left-handed slugger received a routine rest day on Sunday. The Astros want to be cautious with their big power bat after an abbreviated spring training. Alvarez is off to an excellent start to the season. He's hitting .455 with one home run and five RBI in three games. He'll bat third and cover left field against left-hander Matthew Boyd on Monday.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
