6 years agoTampa Bay Rays pitcher Yonny Chirinos (forearm) has suffered another obstacle on his way back. He has now been placed on the disabled list down in Triple-A, this time for a shoulder problem. The Rays have been without him since late April due to a mild right flexor tendon strain. He's posting a 3.71 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 24/9 K/BB ratio in 26 2/3 innings this season. Chirinos is not worth holding or stashing in any leagues, but whenever he gets back to healthy, he could become a reliable fantasy option in deeper leagues.--Jamie Mellor
