6 years agoTampa Bay Rays reliever Yonny Chirinos (forearm) was activated from the disabled list Sunday. His return will be a welcome development, especially since Chaz Roe is going to be out until at least August with knee surgery. The Rays have been without Eovaldi since late April due to a mild right flexor tendon strain. He's posting a 3.71 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 24/9 K/BB ratio in 26 2/3 innings this season. Chirinos is not worth much in shallower leagues but if he is back to healthy, he could become a reliable fantasy option in deeper leagues.--Jamie Mellor
