6 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes joined the big league club in New York on Monday, participating in batting practice. While he wasn't hitting alongside his teammates, he played catch. Additionally, Cespedes has been hitting in the batting cage. The 33-year-old is recovering from a pair of heel surgeries, which took place last August and October. While he seems to be making progress, he has yet to run, which keeps him without a timetable for return.--RDelgado
