6 years agoChicago White Sox second baseman Yoan Moncada is not having a good second half of the season. The 23-year-old has hit just .182 in his last seven games, but his month of August has been truly bad. He's hit just .171 with a disappointing .277 on-base percentage. He's also struck out 23 times in 41 at-bats. The White Sox have been undoubtedly waiting for Moncada to tap into his once-heralded potential after they received him as part of the trade package for Chris Sale, but it hasn't happened as of yet. He's so far just a .223 career hitter. Moncada is a good stash in dynasty and deep leagues (he's only 23, after all), but you'd be hard-pressed to find a reason to start him in most standard formats right now.--Mauricio Castillo
