The Calgary Flames have acquired forward Yegor Sharangovich in a trade with the New Jersey Devils. Calgary departed with Tyler Toffoli in the deal, getting Sharangovich and the 80th pick in the 2023 draft in return. Sharangovich is coming off a two-year, $4 million deal and is a pending restricted free agent. The 25-year-old will be looking to produce a bounce-back season in 2023-24 after settling for only 30 points in 75 games last term. He had a career-best campaign with 24 goals and 46 points just two seasons ago, and the Flames will definitely hope to see him get back to the same level.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
