Yasmani Grandal Unleashes First Home Run Of Season
7 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers catcher Yasmani Grandal got his first home run of the season on Monday night against starter Taijuan Walker during the team's 15-inning marathon in Arizona. He finished the night 3-for-6 with two runs scored, two RBI and two walks. Grandal was working on elevating his swing in the offseason, which makes the hard-hitting catcher even more dangerous. He was originally slated to share duties behind the plate with Austin Barnes, but Dave Roberts has started Grandal in all four contests this season. He'll be a steal if he cuts down his strikeout rate from last season.
