Yasmani Grandal Hits Second Home Run Of Possible Breakout Season
7 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers catcher Yasmani Grandal continued his hot hitting on Wednesday night, slugging his second home run of the season. He went 3-for-4 with two RBI. In 32 at-bats, he's slashing .375/.444/.625 and could be in the midst of a breakout. He's always been one of the hardest hitting catchers (65 HRs over the last three seasons) but has now adjusted his launch angle. Look for him to hit more home runs this season than his career high of 27, especially playing in the dry Southern California air this summer.
