Yasmani Grandal Collects Two More Hits Saturday
6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers catcher Yasmani Grandal went 2-for-3 with a double, two runs and a walk in Saturday's loss to the Cubs. Grandal got off to a slow start to the season but has started to turn things around. After not getting a hit in the opening series against St.Louis, Grandal's average now sits at .308 and he has a home run and a stolen base. Grandal was a trendy pick at catcher during draft season and it's easy to see why. With the move to Milwaukee, Grandal is set to be a primary catcher with no real competition, playing in a great hitter's park in a top-tier lineup. It would not be surprising at all to see Grandal finish as a top-three catcher this season.
