The Chicago Bears are placing defensive end Yannick Ngakoue (ankle) on Injured Reserve after he suffered a broken ankle in the Week 14 win over the Detroit Lions. Ngakoue will need surgery to fix his broken ankle. While the 28-year-old pass-rusher hasn't been all that attractive in IDP fantasy leagues in Chicago in 2023, his season-ending injury is a notable loss for the Bears pass rush the rest of the season. Ngakoue picked up his fourth sack of the season in Sunday's upset win over Detroit, and he'll complete his first year with the Bears with 22 tackles (13 solo), six tackles for loss and seven QB hits in addition to his four sacks in 13 starts. Despite Ngakoue's injury, the Bears defense/special teams unit will have some upside in Week 15 against the Cleveland Browns and an offensive line that is pretty beat up.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
