Yankees Sign Tim Locastro To One-Year Deal
3 years agoThe New York Yankees have signed outfielder Tim Locastro to a one-year Major League contract. Locastro briefly played for the Yankees last year, appearing in nine games with the team before suffering an ACL injury. The Yankees placed him on waivers and he was claimed by the Boston Red Sox, but eventually let go. Locastro is known for his base-stealing prowess. Over 209 MLB games, he's converted 31 of his 34 stolen base attempts. He likely won't be much more than an occasional starter and pinch-runner for the Pinstripes.
