2 years agoThe New York Yankees reinstated right-hander Miguel Castro (shoulder) from the 60-day injured list on Monday and designated right-hander Chi Chi Gonzalez for assignment in a corresponding move. Castro will get a shot to appear in the final three regular season games this week against the Texas Rangers before the team begins their postseason run in the American League Division Series next week. The 27-year-old went on the injured list back in mid-July with a right shoulder strain. Before the injury, Castro was 5-0 with a 4.00 ERA (3.74 FIP), a 1.41 WHIP and a 30:13 K:BB in 27 innings over 32 relief appearances for the Yankees.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
