Yankees Have Confidence in Troy Tulowitzki
6 years agoNew York Yankees general manager Brian Cashman reiterated his club's confidence in shortstop Troy Tulowitzki, claiming they are "all in" on the veteran and also calling him "our shortstop" as the season nears. Of course, that's the case due to Didi Gregorius' Tommy John surgery and subsequent rehab that will keep him sidelined, perhaps for half of the season. Even if "Tulo" somewhat returns to form this year, his injury history means he'll likely need more than one rest day per week, making him a fantasy liability. These factors mean he's a considerable gamble to draft, knowing he'll miss multiple games weekly, could face new injuries or could simply not play well. After all, he's hitting just .219 this Spring, cooling off following a strong start.
