Yankees Expect Aroldis Chapman Back This Season
6 years agoNew York Yankees general manager Brian Cashman said no surgery issues have been raised with closer Aroldis Chapman (knee), and the expectation is that he will return this year. The Yankees can't be sure, though, and there remains no timetable for his return. It'd be a huge blow for the Yankees if they won't have Chapman down the stretch and into the playoffs. Fantasy owners must sit tight and hope he can make it back. In the meantime, the Yankees will likely continue to mix and match in the ninth inning, but reliever David Robertson looks like the best bet in fantasy.
