Yankees Among Six Teams Interested In Blake Snell
4 months agoThe New York Yankees are one of six teams that have inquired about the availability of San Francisco Giants starting pitcher Blake Snell. The reigning NL Cy Young winner has already hit the IL twice this season, making just 10 starts so far, but is coming off of a start on Saturday in which he went six innings, allowing no runs on just two hits and two walks while striking out a career-high 15 batters. The Giants may not be sellers, however, as they have won four of their last five games and sit just 4.5 games out of a Wild Card spot. The Yankees on the other hand have already made a splash in the trade market, acquiring outfielder Jazz Chisholm Jr. from the Marlins on Saturday.
