Yankees Acquire Andrew McCutchen
6 years agoAfter earlier reports stated the New York Yankees were working hard to acquire outfielder Andrew McCutchen from the San Francisco Giants, sources have confirmed the deal has been agreed to. The 31-year-old former NL MVP was in the midst of his first season with the Giants, hitting .255 with 15 home runs and 55 RBI in 130 games. In McCutchen, the Yankees receive a much-needed boost to their outfielder. Still, the move raises questions about Aaron Judge's ability to return, as his comeback would create a playing time issue with Brett Gardner and Aaron Hicks already regulars.
