Yandy Diaz Still Hitting
Yandy Diaz has continued his possible breakout campaign with two more hits on Monday against the Royals. There was concern about how much playing time he would see before the season began until injuries made way for him to claim the starting third base job. He’s currently hitting .298/.395/.596 with seven home runs. The only concern is whether he can sustain his home run production. He has a below-average launch angle of 3.9 degrees and an above-average ground-ball percent of 54.5. Regardless of if he continues the power production, he should still be a good fantasy asset as the cleanup hitter for the Rays. However, it may be a good time to cash in on his hot start.
