3 years agoTampa Bay Rays first baseman/third baseman Yandy Diaz (illness) has been scratched from the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays. He was originally slated to lead off and cover third base in the game. Instead, Manuel Margot will be leading off and Taylor Walls will be covering third base. Diaz is reportedly dealing with an illness. The 30-year-old slugger is slashing .263/.391/.358 with two home runs, eight RBI and 14 runs on the year.
