3 years agoThe Tampa Bay Rays have placed third baseman Yandy Diaz on the COVID-19 injured list. According to the team, he has been dealing with symptoms, but it's unclear if he's tested positive or not. The Rays called up infielder/outfielder Vidal Brujan from Triple-A in a corresponding move. Brujan made his MLB debut with the team last year. He played in 10 games and struggled at the plate, going just 2-for-26. He did, however, successfully steal a base in his first and only attempt. Brujan could serve as something of a super utility player for the Rays while he's up. His best asset is certainly his speed.
