Yandy Diaz Homers, Drives In Four Runs Saturday
3 years agoTampa Bay Rays infielder Yandy Diaz went 2-for-4 with a home run, a single, a walk, and four RBI during Saturday's 11-4 win over the Minnesota Twins. He blasted a three run-shot in the second inning to extend the Rays lead 6-0. The Rays infielder later tacked on an RBI single to drive in four runs altogether. Tampa Bay blasted six home runs Saturday, tying a franchise record for most homers in a game. The 30-year-old busted out of his 1-for-11 slump with Saturday's massive performance. He is slashing .256/.360/.379 with 10 home runs, 49 RBI, and 55 runs scored over 456 plate appearances in 2021. Diaz remains a strong option in points and OBP formats.
