Yandy Diaz Blasts Two-Run Shot On Friday
3 years agoTampa Bay Rays infielder Yandy Diaz went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run, a double, and an additional run scored during Friday's 7-3 win over the Red Sox. He's now logged back-to-back three-hit games. The 29-year-old took Martin Perez deep in the first inning to put the Rays on the scoreboard. It was his seventh long ball of the season. Diaz is slashing .260/.373/.373 with seven home runs, 37 RBI, and 45 runs scored over 88 games in 2021. The Rays infielder doesn't provide much in power but remains a strong option in OBP formats.
