12 months agoIn the first title bout between Chinese-born fighters in UFC history, Yan Xiaonan was defeated by Zhang Weili via unanimous decision. Having secured eight of her previous 17 wins by knockout, Xiaonan was aggressive in the stand-up department and even knocked Weili down. At the end of the first round, it appeared that victory was Zhang's when she had Xiaonan unconscious from a rear-naked chokehold, but Yan was rescued by the bell. In 25 minutes of action, Xiaonan landed three takedowns and 43 significant strikes. With the loss, Xiaonan's UFC record is 8-3.

In her last fight, Xiaonan made a statement by defeating and picking up her first performance bonus with the organization by knocking out former champion Jessica Andrade in the first round of their UFC 288 pay-per-view card matchup. Heading into UFC 300, Xiaonan is a huge underdog as DraftKings has her at a salary of $7,000. While in her 10 UFC fights, she's averaging 72.8 fantasy points per outing.

2 years agoTwo minutes and 20 seconds is all it took for Yan Xiaonan to destroy the always-tough Jessica Andrade on Saturday. Xiaonan tallied 26 significant strikes in the 140 seconds of battle, compared to that of Andrade's 12 that found the mark. A big right hand up the middle dropped Andrade and gave Xiaonan her second straight victory. She is now 8-2 in the UFC.

Xiaonan stopped a two-fight losing streak with a majority decision win over Mackenzie Dern in the main event of a UFC APEX card this past October. Xiaonan is 7-2 in the UFC with notable wins over Dern, Claudia Gadelha, Karolina Kowalkiewicz, and Angela Hill. DraftKings sees Xiaonan as the underdog with a salary of $7,400. Throughout her UFC career of nine bouts, Xiaonan averages 68.7 fantasy points per contest. Xiaonan could see title implications with a win at UFC 288.
