Yan Gomes Sidelined With Minor Arm Soreness
7 years agoCleveland Indians catcher Yan Gomes is currently sidelined with what is being described as "minor arm soreness." Gomes will not be behind the plate again until Monday at the earliest, and he won't make the trip to Las Vegas with the team. He will stay back and work as the designated hitter in minor league games. Gomes will start out the year as the team's primary catcher, but Francisco Mejia could quickly work himself into more playing time. Gomes won't be a good fantasy option.
