4 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina and shortstop Paul DeJong are among two of the six confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 for the team after an announcement was made Tuesday. The rest of the group consists of Junior Fernández, Rangel Ravelo, Edmundo Sosa, and Kodi Whitley. Molina and DeJong are the only fantasy relevant players and will need to produce back-to-back negative tests in a 24-hour period to be cleared to join the team. This will put them out indefinitely, giving Matt Wieters the starting duties behind the plate with Tommy Edman expected to cover shortstop. This could open the door for a promotion of top prospect Dylan Carlson for Friday's game versus the Cubs, although there's still a chance the series could get postponed.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
