1 month agoKansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy remains on the fantasy radar for Week 7 against the San Francisco 49ers. He has been a low-floor, high-upside player throughout the first portion of his rookie season, and that will remain true going forward even with top receiver Rashee Rice (knee) out. In his two games with Rice either inactive or exiting early, Worthy is still averaging a modest five targets, three catches, 49 receiving yards, and 0.5 touchdowns. Those numbers are respectable for a WR3/FLEX option, which is exactly where worthy falls heading into Sunday's clash with the Niners. San Francisco ranks near the middle of the pack in terms of defending receivers; they've allowed the 16th-most fantasy points, the 21st-most catches, and the 11th-most receiving yards to the position this season. Managers should feel comfortable starting Worthy as long as they know that he could underwhelm if Patrick Mahomes focuses more on Travis Kelce or JuJu Smith-Schuster.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBaller
