3 years agoLos Angeles Rams running back Xavier Jones was thrust into a bigger role when teammate Cam Akers (Achilles) was lost for the season, but he has been thriving through the first week of training camp. After Monday's practice, head coach Sean McVay said the room as a whole was doing well to make up for Akers' absence, but he specifically mentioned that Jones was a player that was standing out to him. The team is likely to go with Darrell Henderson as the lead option, but Jones is clearly the primary option off of the bench that is worth stashing on your bench as a potential sleeper.--Gage Bridgford - RotoBaller
