3 months agoTampa Bay Rays first base prospect Xavier Isaac recently earned a promotion to Double-A and has begun to settle in. Over his past two games, the former first-round selection in the 2022 MLB Draft has tallied four hits, including one double and one round-tripper and five RBI. In his previous eight games at Double-A, Isaac has tallied only five hits with three of them going for extra-bases. Isaac opened the campaign by getting an extended look at High-A ball and held a solid .287/.331/.535 line with 15 home runs, 61 RBI, and 14 stolen bases. The 20-year-old currently sits as the third-best prospect in Tampa Bay on MLB.com and could see time at Triple-A Durham next summer if he continues to progress.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller
