Xander Schauffele Has Found Past Success At Kapalua
4 years agoXander Schauffele enters the week less prepared than he would have been after a positive COVID-19 test on Dec. 18. By all accounts, Schauffele had a relatively mild case of the virus, experiencing mostly fatigue, but the news of his positive test has thrown a monkey wrench into how DFS gamers should view the American in Hawaii. Schauffele's past results of second and first over the last two years should make him a high-upside GPP option, but the amount of rust that might come into play is anyone's guess. It is worth keeping an eye on what the 27-year-old has to say about the situation, and it will be important to see if a contrarian opening presents itself if the industry pivots away from the sixth-ranked player in the world.
