Xander Bogaerts Hits Grand Slam Tuesday
2 years agoBoston Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts did damage in Tuesday's 6-0 rain-shortened win over the Rays, going 1-for-3 with a grand slam. Bogaerts obliterated a fifth-inning offering into the rain and over the Green Monster for his 15th long ball of the season. The 30-year-old has had a solid overall season but has been disappointing in the power department, slashing .305/.376/.455 with 73 RBI and eight stolen bases. Bogaerts could be with a new team in 2023, but either way, he should serve as a high-floor fantasy option.
