Xander Bogaerts Exits With Shoulder Tightness On Tuesday
2 years agoBoston Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts (shoulder) was removed from Tuesday's game against the Los Angeles Angels due to left shoulder tightness. After the game, Red Sox manager Alex Cora stated that Bogaerts was okay and that he was pushing Cora to allow him to play in Wednesday's game. Bogaerts initially injured his left shoulder back on May 20, when he was involved in a collision with outfielder Alex Verdugo. The 29-year-old is day-to-day for now. Over 55 games on the year, he's slashing .320/.388/.481 with six home runs, 26 RBI and 36 runs.
