Wyatt Langford Plays Hero On Monday
3 months agoTexas Rangers rookie outfielder Wyatt Langford put together a big game in Monday's victory versus the Chicago White Sox. The outfielder went 2-for-5 with a stolen base, run and one RBI. The RBI would be a big one, as it came in the bottom of the tenth inning off Steven Wilson to send the crowd and Rangers home with a victory. Langford started the season ice-cold, but since returning from a right hamstring strain on May 28, he has really picked things up and shown why he was a preseason favorite of many entering the 2024 season. For the year, Langford is now hitting .254 with five home runs, 42 RBI and nine stolen bases in 284 at-bats. Langford is clicking on all cylinders and could be a big part of managers success in the second half of the season.
