Wyatt Langford Placed On 10-Day Injured List With Oblique Strain
6 days agoThe Texas Rangers have placed outfielder Wyatt Langford (oblique) on the 10-day injured list due to a right oblique strain. The 23-year-old was removed from Tuesday's contest. He underwent an MRI on Wednesday, and due to the results, he will now be on the injured list. Fantasy managers should monitor his status as Langford dealt with an oblique injury earlier in spring training. On Wednesday, veteran Kevin Pillar will get the nod in left field and should see most of the opportunities while Langford sits out. After a modest rookie campaign, the Florida product was enjoying an impressive start to the 2025 season, hitting four home runs and holding a .244/.333/.561 slash line across 12 contests. In addition to Pillar, Dustin Harris or Ezequiel Duran could also have an increased role in the starting lineup.
