With Five Regular Season Races Remaining, Chris Buescher Needs A Big Performance At Indianapolis Motor Speedway
4 months agoOn Saturday afternoon, Chris Buescher qualified 23rd for Sunday's Brickyard 400 from Indianapolis Motor Speedway. With five races to go in the regular season, Buescher currently sits 145th in the playoff standings. While NASCAR lists him in the 12th position on their website, it is important to remember that Joey Logano, Daniel Suarez and Austin Cindric all have a victory this year, which means they would be in over the winless Buescher. Because of this, the RFK Racing star finds himself in desperate need of strong finishes in each of the next five races, a situation that makes him appealing for DFS purposes moving forward. Although he does have limited experience on this track configuration, he does have one top-10 finish in five starts, which is the same amount of top-10s that Ryan Blaney and Chase Elliott have in six starts here. At a starting position that offers place differential upside, and at a reasonable salary of just $8,500 on DraftKings, the No. 17 should be included in your lineup builds this weekend in DFS.
