Wilson Ramos Returns To Lineup Versus Detroit Tuesday
7 years agoTampa Bay Rays catcher Wilson Ramos returned from rehabbing his groin Tuesday versus the Tigers. He was the only Tampa Bay hitter to reach twice in their 2-1 loss. While his hitting was welcome Tuesday, the bigger news for his owners was that he made it through the whole game as the catcher. His 2015 season was a success, as he hit 22 home runs with 80 runs batted in and a .307 batting average over 131 games played. He has never been a major source of runs scored, but if he can stay healthy, he has the upside of a starter in most fantasy leagues. If you have the bench space, the smart play is to pair Ramos with a steady catcher.
