6 years agoTampa Bay Rays catcher Wilson Ramos was involved in all three runs they scored Thursday versus the Athletics. He drove in two runs and then scored the other in the 7-3 loss. Ramos leads all catchers in the majors with 52 hits this season. He now has seven home runs and 28 RBI to go with a very fantasy friendly .313 batting average. His 2015 season was a success, as he hit 22 HRs with 80 runs batted in and a .307 batting average over 131 games played. He has never been a major source of runs scored, but if he can stay healthy, he has the upside of a starter in most fantasy leagues. If you have the bench space, the smart play is to pair Ramos with a steady catcher.--Jamie Mellor
