Wilson Ramos Homers Then Leaves Game Saturday Versus Boston
7 years agoTampa Bay Rays catcher Wilson Ramos has an eventful game Saturday versus the Red Sox. He went 3-for-3 with a walk to raise his batting average to .292. He would hit a two-run HR, which was his fourth of the season. Ramos would add another run scored. He would leave the game with some groin tightness that may cost him a few games but the disabled list is not expected. His 2015 season was a success, as he hit 22 home runs with 80 runs batted in and a .307 batting average over 131 games played. He has never been a major source of runs scored, but if he can stay healthy, he has the upside of a starter in most fantasy leagues. If you have the bench space, the smart play is to pair Ramos with a steady catcher.
