6 years agoAfter taking a wild pitch off his hand earlier Sunday, New York Mets catcher Wilson Ramos gave his club and their fans a scare by exiting the game early. While the newly-signed 31-year-old went for an X-ray, the results came back negative. Ramos will travel with the club should be in the starting lineup for opening day against his former club, the Washington Nationals. He enjoyed a successful 2018 season and is poised to be his club's best slugger at the catcher position in some time. Those who have drafted Ramos or are planning to should ease any worries as he appears to have avoided any serious issues.--RDelgado
