6 years agoTampa Bay Rays catcher Wilson Ramos (hamstring) is optimistic about returning soon. He says he is feeling a lot better and could return by next weekend. While he would not name a date, he did say "probably not more than 10 days". The issue for the Rays is that the trade deadline is likely to have passed before he is back healthy, which complicates their chances. It is possible to trade a player in August but he must clear waivers and then the player would not be eligible for the postseason.--Jamie Mellor
