6 years agoTampa Bay Rays relief pitcher Wilmer Font will start Wednesday versus Toronto. He will serve as the opener in the system the Rays have been using this season. Matt Andriese is expected to pick up multiple innings after that. Font was horrible with Oakland and is not a fantasy asset based on his current role or seasonal track record. Andriese has been playing the role of the guy who comes in after a reliever starts the game and gives the Rays one-to-three innings. His ERA is decent along with picking up the occasional decision but his main value is averaging just over a strikeout an inning.--Jamie Mellor
