Willy Adames With Rare Impact Tuesday Versus Detroit
6 years agoTampa Bay Rays shortstop Willy Adames got the Rays started offensively Tuesday versus the Tigers. He would drive in the first run of the game and then proceed to come around to score later in the inning. Adames has not taken the league by storm, as he is hitting .226 with three home runs, one steal and nine RBI in 84 at-bats in his rookie season so far. He is still the Rays shortstop of the present and the future despite the struggles, as Adames is a top prospect who offers power and speed. He is quite desirable in long-term leagues.
