7 years agoTampa Bay Rays middle infielder Willy Adames is not favored to win the second base job coming out of the spring. Manager Kevin Cash said that Adames was on "the outside looking in" in regards to the second base starting job. In the long term it seems likely that Adames will find his home at shortstop anyway. Adames seems unlikely to be the next great power hitter at shortstop, but he still is a great add in dynasty formats for those who do not have any of the top few amazing young shortstops already.--Jamie Mellor
