Willy Adames Has Big Game Friday Versus Boston
6 years agoTampa Bay Rays shortstop Willy Adames had a big fantasy game Friday versus the Red Sox. He would go 2-for-3 with a walk. Adames would hit a two-run homer, end with three runs scored and even stole a base. Adames has only played 55 games so far this season so his counting stats are a bit low at eight HR and six steals. If you extrapolate out to 162 games, he would have 20+ HR and 15+ steals which is more than enough to be fantasy relevant in many leagues. There is no guarantee the rates would stay the same but he was considered a top prospect so it is possible he would come close. He is a deep league option and an interesting keeper discussion.
