Willy Adames Collects Four Hits, Homers Twice Tuesday
4 months agoMilwaukee Brewers shortstop Willy Adames continued his strong offensive second half in Tuesday's 10-0 win over the Braves. Adames went 4-for-5 with two singles, a pair of two-run home runs, and a strikeout. The 28-year-old clobbered a first-inning Bryce Elder sinker into the center-field shrubs and tagged Elder again in the third inning, hitting a pitch into the center-field seats. Adames has had a strong second half after a middling first half and is now slashing .293/.369/.552 in 58 second-half at-bats. Adames is a must-start fantasy option when producing like this, especially if the Brewers continue to play strong baseball overall.
