Willie Snead Likely To See Diminished Role
5 years agoBaltimore Ravens wide receiver Willie Snead IV will probably see a diminished role in the offense this season, in the opinion of NFL.com's Gregg Rosenthal. Second-year wideouts Marquise Brown and Miles Boykin should be the starters on the outside, but third-rounder Devin Duvernay could add a speedier element to the slot than Snead. Snead is still just 27 years old, but he caught just 31 passes for 339 yards and five touchdowns in 16 games (11 starts) in 2019 despite the Ravens not having much depth at the position and with Brown and Boykin both being rookies. Snead will still have a role in this explosive offense in 2020, but Duvernay could easily cut into his overall snaps.
