William Karlsson Scores Game-Winner On Power Play
6 years agoVegas Golden Knights center William Karlsson registered the game-winner in Tuesday's 8-3 success over Chicago, netting his seventh goal of the season on a power play. Shea Theodore and Cody Eakin helped out with the assists. Karlsson was a 40-goal scorer last season, but his numbers were always going to drop after he posted a 23.4 shooting percentage for the year. He's on 13.7 percent this season. Vegas' top line with Karlsson, Jonathan Marchessault, and Reilly Smith hasn't been able to match their dominance from last season, but the 25-year-old Swede is showing signs of heating up, scoring in back-to-back games with both goals being the decisive markers.
