William Cuevas Struggles In Short Start On Friday
6 years agoBoston Red Sox pitcher William Cuevas only lasted two innings in Friday's 8-0 loss to the New York Mets. He allowed two runs on three hits while striking out four batters and walking one. Hector Velazquez was originally scheduled to start the game for the Red Sox, but he was scratched due to an illness. Cuevas has only tossed 9 1/3 innings in 2018. He's been used in a long-relief role for the majority of the season. Cuevas has no fantasy value and can be left on the waiver wire.
