William Contreras Homers Twice, Drives In Five Runs On Sunday
7 months agoMilwaukee Brewers catcher William Contreras went 4-for-5 with two home runs, five RBI, and three runs scored in Sunday's 12-4 win over the Seattle Mariners. His first home run came off of Seattle Mariners starter Emerson Hancock, launching a hanging slider to the left field seats. His second home run came off of a position player in Josh Rojas, who was in the game to preserve bullpen arms for the Mariners. For the season thus far, Contreras is hitting to a tune of .387/.444/.677 with an OPS of 1.121. Look for Contreras to continue his excellent production from the catcher position, as he is one of the best offensive catchers in baseball.
