Hendrick Motorsports driver William Byron will start on the pole for Wednesday's Cup race at Charlotte Motor Speedway. This comes after Byron finished 20th in Sunday's Coca-Cola 600 when he cut a tire and spun out with just two laps to go. Byron has been plenty fast this season, but only has a single top-10 to show for it, as he seems to hit a snag every time he is running towards the front. Wednesday's race at CMS is drastically shorter than Sunday's 600-miler, and Byron will start with the advantage of clean air, as he potentially could lead a good portion of the early stages. While this could be the night that Byron breaks through, he would be a driver to avoid in DFS for the downside of finishing with a negative place differential.--John Pitucci - RotoBaller
